Aha Ruth, I am having two conversations with you! Our group is called NOTHY! (Not Over The Hill Yet!) We have a website under construction which will give you some info, but I hope some of our NOTHYs will write some of it as they are sharing computer skills (when they aren't addicted to Wii Sports!) www.nothy.btck.co.uk

Hi Shona

Would love to know more about your 50+ co-pro ducks for the Co-production Resource I'm involved in co-producing...is there a website or write-up I could look at?

Cheers

Ruth

Hi All!

Seems to have gone quiet...how are you all doing? Our project is engaging people 50+ who have taken to co-production like ducks to water. 27 participants so far this week which is encouraging!

Hi Kate, just noticed your comment about Asset Based Community Development. We are hosting a free event on 14 Nov in Sheffield all about ABCD with Cormac Russell and Jim Diers who I expect you know are renowned in the field. see www.altogetherbetter.org.uk for further info. Maybe see you there! Roz

Hi Yorkshire Group, I work in the third sector with a particular focus on alcohol harm reduction.  Increasingly becoming involved in a more holistic approach to behaviour change and training NHS staff to increase their awareness of how to discuss difficult lifestyle issues which is generating some fascinating insights into the barriers to change.

seen this? Martin Simon's book after ten years of timebanking and a crowd funding venture, what a combo'!

Hi Alan and Rich
I would be really interested in a Yorkshire group. I am currently working closely with colleagues in Wakefield PCT to look at the development of asset based approaches and they have a small pilot scheme running there, so maybe useful to exchange thoughts?
