Hi, my name is James O'Flynn and I work in Market Development for Leicestershire County Council. Co-Production is part of my remit, as is timebanking, which I am in the process of setting up in Leicestershire.I would be very interested in hearing from other individuals and organisations in the area who would like to meet a few times a year. For me a network would be useful in terms of finding out about what is occurring locally, exchanging ideas about best practice, and learning about new…See More

A blog about setting up a timebank and co-production.

HelloI'm in the process of setting up a Timebank and I thought it could be a good opportunity to share the highs and lows (they are coming) of doing so with interested parties. Along the way I will try to add information and experience around co-production, after all thats the point. http://onewhistleonebell.wordpress.com/  James O'Flynn See More

Hi James, I'm not in your area but I was involved in a project a couple of years ago, supported by East Midlands SHA, that aimed to embed co-production into their service commissioning. I'd be happy to give you  more details, just let…

I love rule number 1, I'm sure I have come across organisations that under this rule would instantaneously collapse, top down. Rule 8 is so simple but never really utilised in big organisations.

I completely agree Mark, I think that one of the problems is that those who work in the public sector continually get different messages about what people should be called and this causes people not to interact naturally but to constantly search and…

Pam Luckock in NWales is in the process of setting up a time-bank network too. She has been speaking to Ben in Spice and to Geoff in Timebanking Wales. They might be useful contacts since they have lots of experience. Cheers Ruth
